Volunteer Terms & Conditions*

All volunteers must be 21 years of age or older by the date of their first scheduled shift.

Volunteers are expected to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to their assigned time slot to receive their t-shirt and any final event details. In the case of unforeseen circumstances, we ask that volunteers provide at least 72 hours’ notice when possible if they need to cancel a shift. Accepted volunteers will be contacted via email with shift assignments as the event date approaches.

While on duty, volunteers must not participate in any other roles they may hold at the event, such as attendee, affiliate, or press. Volunteers are also prohibited from engaging in any inappropriate behavior, including but not limited to drinking, smoking, or any criminal activity, and must follow all event policies and regulations.

Volunteers are welcome to shop with vendors and interact with authors after their shift has ended.
